The MRTG software package includes a command line program called cfgmaker to automatically generate a configuration file for a device. The following example assumes your Peplink device is already configured for readonly SNMP access as follows:
Peplink SettingsIP Address: 192.168.200.1 Community String: public SNMP Version: 2
Run cfgmaker as follows to save configuration to a file named: hd2.conf. The configuration will contain all interfaces on the Peplink and their description for bandwidth graphing.
cfgmaker --snmp-options=:::::2c --no-down --output=hd2.conf firstname.lastname@example.org
