It would be helpful if each firewall access rule allowed comments. Just a plain text field that did nothing. This would let me add a note to myself, or a note to the next person to work on a Peplink router, as to why and when the rule was created.

After all this time … and still just me? No one else wants user comments attached to firewall rules?

Surprised it hasn’t been added to be honest Michael. Guess most people encode the purpose in the rule name?

That’s what I do, yes. But always afraid that a long rule name might cause a problem. There is no doc on how long the names can be or what characters are allowed.
