Hi,
We have experienced the following issue with our MAX BR2. While sending out live video to an RTMP destination, we are periodically losing the internet connection on our streaming computer. This has happened both when connected via WiFi and Ethernet. Additionally, we have had two computers connected, both sending out live video and only one loses connection at a time, but both experience the same issue periodically. One computer is running Windows 10, the other is Windows 11. Each time this happens we have to disconnect from the WiFi or Ethernet and reconnect.
Does anyone have any ideas why this could be happening, and any solutions?
Thanks.
Well - that sounds frustrating!
You need to do some fault finding when the issue happens to see what’s going on.
From the description I suspect that it is healthcheck related - sessions set load balanced across both WANs then one WAN fails for a short period and then recovers affecting one of the connected devices and not the other.
Use a smartphone or another device to monitor the active sessions tab under status and the dashboard and observe what happens when the issue occurs.
Try using SpeedFusion Cloud/Connect for your RTMP traffic and see if the issue goes away.
Thanks for the response. I forgot to include that we are sending all our traffic through SpeedFusion Connect, using Dynamic Weighted Bonding to bond 2 Cellular Sims.
We will try to monitor as it happens the next time. What should we be looking for when monitoring the active sessions?
