Client list names not resolving

Hi

Please cone someone explain to me why sometimes the names of devices resolves on the client list and sometimes it displays nothing, like the attached! image001|689x404

This is a standalone BR1 with no external firewalls etc it connects to HQ via VPN.

The client list will show names if they are in the DHCP reservation list, or if the device itself gives a name. It might be the name of the ethernet adapter. Windows computers reply their system name in Windows Device setup. It all depends on the device.

Even without reserving an address, you can type a name directly into the client list. Just click on the existing name.
