I noticed recently that my AP One Advanced Wireless configuration had the Channel set to Auto Scan, but h schedule was weekly which seems useless! Is there any reason to not set it to hourly, which seems more reasonable, especially since I’m in a 9-story building with a ton of Wi-Fi.

For your specific situation you can certainly switch it to hourly. Where weekly may not be the best schedule in your specific case, it may be for others in less congested areas.
