Can't Connect to Max BR1 Mini

The router is getting power. The status light is turn on (green), however the lights for the wi-fi does not come on. I have tried to hard reset the device via the back several times, resulting in the same issue. What should advise to try next?

Wondering if the DNS server has anything to do with it.
Thanks

You are unable to connect by wi-fi or ethernet to the address shown on the bottom of the router after a factory reset? And, you are certain you held that switch down long enough (a slow 20 count)? And, no, DNS would not be a factor.

That is correct I can not connect via wi-fi or ethernet cable from the router to the computer. I tried holding the factory reset for a slow 20 count. The modem proceeded with having the same issue status is on green however unable to connect to it.

Reason I mentioned DNS cause I ran the windows standard troubleshoot and populated DNS can’t be reach/connected. Any other suggestion Rick? Thank you for your reply!

First, I’d point that Widows troubleshooter almsot never leads to a useful result. I’d have to think real hard if I’ve ever seen a solution where this “feature” was of value. Yes, of course – there are many reasons in such a scenario as you describe that there would be a DNS failure – but all are irrelevant to connecting to the router where the address is specified.

One more suggestion. Disconnect WAN(s) – ethernet and cellular – whatever you have. If you have a SIM installed take it out. Then do a factory reset again. Then, once that little LED turns green again wait a few second and try to connect again via ethernet using a “known good” cable. You do not say if you acquired the device new or used but if the latter there is always a possibility that someone else’s IC2 account is downloading a config which may have changed the router’s address. Unfortunately, a factory default will return the IC2 setting to “on.”

Let us know what happens.
