Can't access Peplink Balance 20 Web Interface

I connected the Lan and tried the URL 192.168.1.1 but it’s not connecting. I tried the old URL 192.168.20.1 as well but no luck. I saw on another thread that someone suggested ipconfig to check the default gateway but mine doesn’t have anything there. After powering it up the status light starts red but then goes off. Any help?
Thanks

Hi,
can you share us the result of your ipconfig?
If you have no IP and/or not gateway, then e.g. DHCP of your BPL20 is disabled.
You can reset the device. Before you do this, try to connect the Router by using InControl

Isn’t InControl2 a paid cloud based Peplink service? How does someone get around this if they are not utilizing the InControl2?

(DHCP of your BPL20 is disabled.) So I need to enable BPL20? What is BPL20 and how do I enable it?

Its free for the first year. Then there is a cost.

Hardware reset of the device would let you get access if you were in a mess.

BPL20 is the product code for the Balance 20 that the original poster references. DHCP is the service that dishes out IP addresses to devices that connect to the router. Dennis is suggesting it could be turned back on again.
