I just purchased a surf soho router (no idea what I’m doing) i have Verizon Mifi 6620L. Got everything hooked up & ready to go, accessed the IP address & logged in & it said connected. WiFi did not go any faster at all. Searched forums & various websites to try to fix it & so i changed the IP to 10.0.0.1 & then it kicked me off the website with all of the info (that i had to log in to) now it will not let me get back to that address. I have no idea what to do. Please HELP!!! Thanks in advance

When you changed the IP address to 10.0.0.1 did you re-connect your laptop / PC to the SOHO? You would then be given a new iP address in the new range by the SOHO and you should be able to log back in using the new IP address.

I don’t think so. As soon as i hot apply changes it completely kicked me out of where i was & i couldn’t get back to it at all
When you changed the SOHO IP and hit apply, your laptop/PC would be on the old network address range. You’ll need to disconnect and reconnect your device to pick up a new IP address in the same 10.0.0.x range so you can then access your SOHO.
If you are in a real mess, you can just factory reset the SOHO using the hardware reset button and start again

Reset button worked. Now I’m back in. What do i need to do next to get the WiFi working faster? I need to follow the directions of someone who knows!!
