Hello everyone. I’m not sure if anyone else has experienced this issue
We have a balance 580x with SpeedFusion VPNs set up with other devices, today we configured an IPsec VPNs with other routers (StrongSwan, Fortinet, etc.). The VPN IPSEC on the Peplink appears active, but when pinging or tracing to a remote VPN destination, it doesn’t respond (ping), and the trace goes over the internet instead of through the logical interface that the Peplink should create for this VPN. Speedfusion are working normally
I have two cases with firmware 8.5.3 (20x and 580x) where the VPN IPSEC is established, but the traffic isn’t being routed correctly. As a troubleshooting measure, the 20x was downgraded to version 8.4.1, and that solved the problem.
In the case of the 580x, everything has been tried, including changing the VPN mode from policy to routing, and the traffic still doesn’t work. It’s not routing correctly. Has anyone else experienced this? I’ve already opened a case with Peplink and shared all the evidence to see if they can indentify something
