I have a use case with an antenna tracking system. Problem is that the antenna has only V and H polarity, so 2 connectors. Then I need to either split the 2 polarities with the 2 modems or to focus on 1 of the modems while leaving the other one unused. Having both modems/radios is the target, so I purchased splitters. Now where to connect them is the question. I don’t seem to find information as to which port is the main and which is the diversity like in older/other Peplink models.
Given that this is MIMO 4X4 per modem 2 modems and therefore 8 antenna connections, there would be no Main and diversity port. But how to get the best out of the set-up? I don’t want to split the signal in 4, but I will if I need to, it is just very little power to begin with and this is for a maritime environment.
