BR1 mini check-in to incontrol via LAN

Is there a way to have the BR1 checkin in to incontrol2 / private incontrol2 via the LAN?
I’ve set it to an ip address on the existing local LAN and disabled DHCP on the BR1 mini.

I’d like to do the intial incontrol check-in , apply firmware policies/upgrade firmware and apply all configs before putting in the sim for the first time.

This is very easy to do on the BR1 as it has an activated WAN port, but it’s not as easy to do on the BR1 mini.
