Over the past few days one of my Max BR1s has been acting up and I just noticed in the logs this morning that it keeps detecting the SIM card as new. Could this be a defective SIM or a defective modem possibly?
This means the router detects that a SIM card is inserted (physically), but the cellular module can’t read the SIM card.
It could be either a defective SIM or a defective cellular module or even a SIM card that is not inserted properly.
Please test the SIM card in another device or SIM slot and if the problem persists log a support ticket.
