any ideas what to do next?

Firmware loaded on device is 7.0.2 build 2703

Hi @densant

When you click on the details button for the cellular connection, do you see any RSSI / SINR, etc information? as shown here:-

Are you using the original Peplink power supply and have you used the supplied antenna or something different?

Thanks,
Steve

We’re using supplied power supply and antenna. we’re not using the GPS antenna

Hi,

I think the signal isn’t strong enough to establish a connection - here are some guidelines for 3G to look for:-

Do you have any way to improve this - perhaps moving the BR1 closer to a window, etc?

For your information, here are similar figures for 4G:-

Right now is next to a window, will try a different room. Thanks

Signal improved a bit but still no WAN IP.

Doest have anything to do with authentication or Plan?

Might be asking the obvious questions, but have you checked the APN with your provider?
We have had several situations where the ‘Auto’ APN wasn’t the correct one.

Besides that, if you’re using an international roaming SIM-card, make sure roaming is enabled.
If you’re using a standard SIM-card, you can leave roaming disabled.

I’ll call Verizon and check with them. Thanks

After speaking to Verizon it seems like the SIM card wasn’t activated. She mentioned that it wasn’t compatible? it was a pre-paid should that have worked?
