Blocking iCloud services

Has anyone been able to successfully block iCloud photo upload and backup?

I havn’t been able to find a way to do this yet, and it is CHEWING through LTE data like crazy on my BR1 mk2.

Any guidance would be appreciated.

I found your thread with those links and read through them, unfortunately, none seem to have a great answer.
I was hoping someone had come up with a secret sauce I hadn’t discovered yet
