I have a B One router and am thinking about using it in Colombia, to bond a Fiber line (a little under 1Gb) and a microwave connection (about 500Mb) with SpeedFusion, to get hot failover for work apps like VOIP and Zoom meetings.
I’ve used SpeedFusion Connect in the states, but with no SFC datacenters in or near Colombia, I’m thinking maybe I should host a FusionHub Solo instance somewhere for lower latency.
Have been looking for a datacenter that can be used to host a FusionHub in Colombia or Panama but haven’t found any so far (vultr and linode aren’t nearby and it looks like the announced AWS Local Zone for Bogota hasn’t happened yet). Maybe the closest I’ll get to Medellin is using a Miami datacenter, but not sure if the performance will be acceptable. Any recommendations or ideas from your perspective?
