Basic Questions on Wired Mesh

Trying to configure: Balance 20X router with 2 AP1 Mini access points for mesh operation. Standard hookup is to make 1 AP wired, and the second AP wireless. I have the cable in place to connect both AP’s to the Balance.

-How does the mesh configuration of 2 wired AP’s change, in comparison to having 1 wired AP and 1 wireless AP?
-Is the router’s wifi considered to be a primary controller, or do we consider all 3 AP’s as equal parts of a 3-way mesh?

If you can cable them all in, do that and do not configure mesh. Just have all of them in Incontrol2 in the same group and apply the wifi config from Incontrol2, and you’ll get the best performance.
