When I look at the data sheet of peplink balance 380, I find that the item of “WAN Ports/Internet Links” shows 3(GbE).What does it mean?
Does it mean that one of 3 ports can support 1G bandwidth?

Hi Edwin,
Thank you for your interest in Peplink.
The Gbe means that the port interface supports 10/100/1000 Base-T Ethernet connectivity, however this does not reflect on the overall router’s throughput.
The Peplink Balance 380 can be connected up to 3 WAN ports and maximum of 170Mbps router throughput.
Thanks
Thanks for your reply.
So the word ‘GbE’ means that all of WAN ports in peplink balance 380 can connect 10/100/1000 ethernet port.
However, why does the data sheet show that “WAN Ports/Internet Links” of peplink balance 710 is 7(3xGbE)?
Only three ports can connect 10/100/1000 port?
Hi Edwin,
Yes, the 710 have only three GbE WANs and one GbE LAN while the other four is 10/100 Base-T Ethernet port.
Thanks
