What is the DC voltage range for the Balance20
Hi DuaneB,
The DC voltage range is 9-30V.
I tested a unit this morning, it turns off (shuts down) at 18 volts.
note: tested on variable power supply, started at 12 volts, increased to 24 volts, decreased to 12 volts, worked fine, increased to 28 volts and it SMOKED
Hi Duane, sorry about the confusion here. Jason was actually referring to the MAX 700/HD2 voltage input range.
The Balance 20 is rated for 9-16VDC input.
