Can I use the backup configuration file of the One to configure the Two? If not, what is the easiest way to save my existing settings in the new router?

unfortunately, automated way of config file conversion from Balance One to Balance Two is not available because Balance Two has less LAN ports (4 ā 8). You should run the setup manually through WebAdmin.
If you use InControl 2, part of configuration can be replicated from it (not applies for WAN and some other settings)

Thank you Ricardas for the reply. I had hopes that because the Oneās LAN ports 4-8 seem to be just vanilla, it might work.
Is this true. i cannot backup my Balance One and restore to Balance Two? i have to manually reprogram all the settingsā¦ Tell me itās not trueā¦
