I’ve not found an explanation of SIM card installation on the 310x. With the back cover removed, there are two slots. Pushing on the grey plastic on either does not pop out a tray. The slot appears to be larger than today’s standard micro SIM. Could someone point me to instructions?

The straight answer is you are trying to insert a SIM card that is too small into the slot and it needs an adapter.
I do not use this company, but the explanation is basically on point with your question. https://www.mintmobile.com/blog/sim-card-sizes/
- You are currently trying to insert, I believe the middle sized card into a slot that needs the largest card.
- The very small size of your SIM card is usually meant for devices similar to your cell phone.
If anything go back to the cellular provider and ask for a new sized SIM card, or just order a SIM card adapter pack off whatever site you frequent. Either option should fix this issue.
Hi Robert,
BPL-310x has a normal SIM-Slot for a Full-Size SIM.
On every Peplink the Chip of the SIM has to be directed to the other slot
Nothing will pop out, SIM has to be inserted and after the last ppush it will sty on the position.
