Balance 310 factory reset

I have a older Balance 310 (4 LAN ports - 3 WAN - USB and 2 leds) that powers on. The “Power” is green but “status” led is solid red. All LAN/WAN port leds light the correct way then plugged into a laptop RJ45 port.

But I cannot get unit to reset to default. Pressing the recessed rest button seems to have no effect even up to 30 seconds and power off/on. Plus none of ports are serving DHCP and If I set laptop LAN port to a fixed IP in same subnet I get no http connection.

Can anyone advise please?

Hello hcg,

Does the red status light stay red even after a few minutes? If it does, the device may no longer be able to boot.

Yes red led stays on solid even after 10 minutes.
