Hey so I recently purchased a Balance 20x for my office. We have always had to ISP connections and used them individually, which can get annoying switching back and forth. I wanted to set up load balancing for the two connections so I got a VLAN license as well.
For whatever reason the VLAN connection speeds are coming up as 2-5 mbps up and down. Regardless of which company I connect to it. Whatever ISP I use for the main WAN works fine and give me similar speeds to what I have. ( My plan is Spectrum - 200/100mbps Verizon Fios - 200/200mbps. )
I have tried to-
- Reset the balance 20x to factory settings and set the connections up from start
- Adjusted the speed settings
- Reset the ISP modems
- Disabled the WAN and tried to run spectrum on the VLAN only
- Disabled the WAN and tried to run Verizon on the VLAN only
- Made sure outbound policies were correct.
Still getting 2-3mbps on the VLAN, regardless of the which company I plug to it. When I connect to the ISP modem/router directly the speeds are fine and everything works on that end.
Am I missing something? I have literally went in to every tab and setting menu, Spent about 8-9 hours today trying to get to the bottom of this and still no luck.
From my understanding both WAN and VLAN should be getting 200/200 and 200/100 spectrum. And the outgoing policy should automatically adjust my devices to the either of the ISP’s depending on the load and usage.
