Balance 20x & AP one AX issue

Hi everyone,
I have a balance 20x (firmware 8.4.0) .
I have setup a vlan with dhcp (192.168.2.10-250)
I have configured two ssid and set them up to use the vlan.
So all devices that connect to these ssid are assigned ip from 192.168.2.10-250.
Now i added a ap one ax.

I set this up as below
controller managment : ap controller
operating mode : bridge.

Now it shows the two ssids on the balance 20x.
But when devices connect to it, they get iprange of 169.254.x.x
How can I configure the ap to use the dhcp on the balance 20x to issue the ip address for the clients?

NB : I am not using incontrol.
thanks.

Also, there is a typo in your question. Not sure if your LAN is 192.168.1.x or 192.168.2.x

Thanks, will try this. Also fixed the typo.

I have tried exactly as said on the above video. The ap now allows client to connect to it on the same ssid’s as the balance 20x. But it does not assign the correct ip . Is there anything else that I need to check?

I had the same issue on a balance 20x using the integrated AP. I have a 2ndary SSID for my Son’s school network so I can filter that differently. As I was troubleshooting I happened to notice lease lifetimes were off, so I changed the lease lifetime. As soon as i did that it started working as expected. Not sure if this is the same issue but my situation has been resolved now for > 1 mo.

Thanks everyone. the Ap One AX works fine with my B20x HR1. I issue was the lan port was set to access instead of trunk
