I normally work with Adtran routers, but like what I’ve seen from the Peplink routers. I have a client with two locations, using WAN failover at each location. I want to create two vLAN’s at each location. (One for their computers and one for their IP phone system) Can I program a specific vLAN to go out a specific WAN port? If a WAN connection is in failover mode then I obviously want everything to go out the lone working WAN connection. Is this possible? Thanks for any help.
Yes, firmware 6.1 now supports 802.1q VLANs and you can create custom outbound rules based on the new source IP addresses.
