I’ve entered some local DNS entries into my PepLink Balance 20 with firmware 8.0.2. I’ve noticed I’m able to nslookup and ping these names from MacOS. Resolution works just fine. When I attempt the same from any Windows boxes, pings result in “Ping request could not find host” while an nslookup does query the router and return the correct IP. Balance is configured to automatically assign DNS servers on all LAN DHCP. Not sure if I’m missing other configuration.

I assume the windows boxes are using the Balance 20 for their DNS?
Suggest you enable WINS on the B20
