Backwards compatiblity with 2G/Edge

Are the Pepwave devices compatible with 2G / Edge? I have a scenario somewhere where this might be required.

Yes, the Pepwave devices are compatible with 2g/Edge. Believe we have a special firmware that would make this work (if @engineering could confirm).

Thanks. If we run it with this software, would it still be compatibile with 3G/4G LTE?

The MAX-BR1-AE-T is compatible with 2G/Edge and 3G but not 4G LTE. The rest of the MAX family with embedded modems works on 4G LTE and 3G.
