Been running the B One for a home router for a year now and I really like it!
Early on I setup the remote user access Openvpn and it works great.
Now I subscribed to a Mullvad/IVPN/NordVPN type service.
I configured this on the B One Webadmin under /Advanced/Openvpn/New Profile
Link came right up and all indications are, all my traffic is going out over the VPN.
Is this the correct/ secure way to use the VPN serivce?
Second question, This VPN config seems to have broken my Roku streaming.
Can I route the roku traffic back through the normal WAN connection? What part of the operators manual covers this?
I have the latest firmware.

Depends on your definition of secure. I don’t consider routing all my traffic through a third party VPN secure. What’s your goal? What benefit are you seeking?
My goal is to limit my exposure to my ISP. And to limit my location exposure.
Look into outbound policies. I have played with SFC using outbound policies and I am looking to do something similar with Proton VPN. I am waiting for the wireguard update of 8.6.0 before I deploy.
Regardless of what VPN you use (SFC, Speedfusion VPN, etc) outbound policies is how the router handles. You can configure through the router or through incontrol2.peplink.com
Feels like you’re talking about 2 different kinds of VPN here. The remote user access on Peplink is for you to VPN back to the particular Peplink and access its local LAN remotely, while the NordVPN type service is for masking your own pc/mobile location.
As it turns out, there are THREE different OpenVPN options in my B One.
1.The remote accesss, which I already was using.
2.The Site to Site, which I setup and couldn’t establish outbound policies on.
3.And the OpenVPN WAN which requires the additional licence.
https://manual.peplink.com/documentation/peplink-b-series-user-manual/ch8-configuring-the-wan-interfaces/openvpn-wan/
This third option gave me the ability to set an outbound policy that bypassed the vpn for my roku device.
Still working on whether or not I have things configured correctly.
Thanks to all who replied!

As I read it, Wireguard will only be implemented on the “remote access VPN” option in 8.6.0.
