I’m curious why it is necessary to enable Starlink (under Network > WAN) in order to see the GPS Receiver option under Advanced (Misc. Settings)?
Incidentally, the name GPS Receiver is a little confusing since it’s for setting up a client to receive NMEA data from a server.
This is on a B One running 8.5.2 (build 5862).
Interesting. I’m looking at all my options for getting location data onto my B One 5G and coming to the conclusion NMEA is not an option for the B One series. I enabled Starlink on WAN 1 as that’s were I have used it when I’ve had my set up when it I was using it. That does not seem to add the entry to the Advanced > Misc. Settings menu for me. Maybe I just need to reboot? Maybe a Starlink actually needs to be plugged in and powered up for that to appear?
I’d really like a dedicated GPS providing NMEA to my router so that would work while using 5G or Wifi WAN too, not just when I have my power hogging, expensive monthly cost Starlink operating.
