I have a peplink MAX BR1 Mini installed in my camper. This was installed at the camper dealership. Went to an AT&T corporate store(because that’s apparently the only way to acquire an AT&T data only sim card). Long long story short, we finally got one. Put it in the router and it works. The problem now is I want to set up automatic payments for this prepaid sim card from AT&T but the router was assigned a phone number in order for me to make this purchase because I don’t use AT&T for my cellular phone. They are telling me I somehow need to get a text that is being sent to the number associated with the sim card. (in the router)This text contains a PIN number for me to use if I want to set up automatic payments. Is this not the screwiest thing you’ve ever heard? Or am I missing something.
Advanced (on top) → SIM Toolkit (on left) → Choose “SMS” in the tool drop down… Then it will show you the text messages the router has received.
