Associate WAPs with routers

is there an easy way to associate an AP One AC Mini AP with a pepwave router (surf soho/max br1) such that it automatically copies the SSID and passwords to extend the network?

at this time we’re manually setting these values up by going into the SSID settings of the APs to match, but its cumbersome (on high volumes of devices).

I think you can do this quickly if you manage your radio and SSID settings on InControl2. I only have two devices (BR1 Pro 5g and AP One AX), but I manage all of this with inControl.

Two ways…

  1. Use the Access Point Controller function of the Peplink router to manage them directly on the router (some of the smaller devices, including most of the BR1 series, do not have this capability. The BR1 ro 5G for example does, as do almost all Balance series)

or
2) (as mentioned above- and the better way), have both devices in the same Incontrol2 group, and manage the wifi from Incontrol for that group. It will push teh same config down to both devices.
