AP & Surf PepVPN ID Length

I am using a Balance 380 and configured the PepVPN with a local ID of 40 characters. Using SOTG and AP’s is notice that my 40 character long PepVPN ID does not fit into the SOTG or AP PepVPN Remote ID.
Will in a futures firmware update this limite be changes?
What length should the PepVPN ID have?
Is there a work around?

Any reason you want to use 40 characters? 14 characters and below are recommended.

The Local ID is an identify of local unit when establishing a VPN connection. If you need to secure your VPN connection, please enable encryption and using Pre-shared Key in your SpeedFusion profile.
