AP One Firmware 3.6.1 Now in GA

AP One Firmware 3.6.1 is now ready for production environments.

Supported Models:

  • AP One AC Mini HW1
  • AP One Enterprise
  • AP One Rugged
  • AP One Flex HW2,3
  • AP Pro AC

There are three ways you can get yours:

  1. Head over to firmware download page
  2. InControl 2 Firmware Management
  3. Click “Check for Updates” on AP Controller to get the latest Firmware pack
  4. “Manual Upload” the the Firmware pack on AP Controller

Release Notes

AP Controller Firmware Pack 1168 includes:

  • 3.6.1 build 1889 for AP One 802.11ac models
  • 3.5.5 build 1900 for AP One 802.11n models

Where do we get the access point firmware version to install in our Balance for AP management?

How i can download pack id at the controller as the controller didn’t want download it automatically ?

@joe_Net, I tried on few of our units with firmware 8.0 and 8.0.1 (beta), it is able to download the Pack ID 1167. Probably you might want to submit a support ticket for us to take a look why your unit (AP Controller) doesn’t download the AP firmware package 1167?

i am using firmware 7.0.0 , is that might be an issue ?

My B380 running 8.0.0 had no trouble automatically downloading AP firmware 1167.

My Balance One running 8.0.0 has AP firmware 1159 in the Toolbox. When I click check for updates it says no AP firmware updates are available. Can you give us 1167 firmware pack for manual download?
