Does anyone make or can anyone please recommend a weather tight case for a Peplink that must be stored outside in the elements (marine)? Any considerations as to ventilation? I see the transits are generally OK to 149 degrees F but the 20x is only 113 degrees F… Thanks!!
Pelican Cases,
We have deployed routers and SFF computers and added external inputs on the case for DC/AC/USB connectivity,
But Pelican has a lot of different cases on there website
So you just drill through to mount it? And what cable glands do you use to route cables through the case wall?
May not need glands. We installed external weather connectors, and mounted a raised shelf in the case to mount the equipment to and route cables under the shelf, also installed an external antenna
thanks, what external weather connectors did you use? is that a small fan? if so, where is the air inlet, i thought the pelican is air tight?
It is air tight, but we added little DC fans for air flow, and we stand the case up on its wheels when its outside, depending how you want to wire it you could go with:
External Thread Receptacle: 3 Pins

An example is:
We can fit Peplink devices into water tight cases. the cases are IP 68 rated and have IP68 power and network rated Connectors on them to suit whatever the client requires.
Wifi Mobile network antennas can be fitted that allow the case to be closed when powered to maintain waterproof integrity.
We have a solution to extract heat from inside the case should it be required.
Give me a call to discuss if you would like more information.
just messaged you, thanks!
@MartinLangmaid Has some solutions if your in the UK if you want a case.
Peplink has a HD2 dome, HD1 dome, HD1 dome PRO5g, BR1 IP67 that are weather sealed routers.
We have some BR1 IP67’s in stock if interested.
anyone use a Poynting EPNT-1 ? if so, what peplink did you pair with and what mount did you use? this is looking like possibly the best option.
Transit Duo and BR1 fits really good.
I meassured the maximum space for the router for you
19,5cm (7.5inch) x 19,5cm (7.5 inch) → THis is the absolute maximum with a few mm space between the connectors
BR1 Max Pro? thanks!
thank you very helpful. have you mounted any of these setups (epnt) on a boat? it looks like a pipe mount is only option?
