Getting a new camper van. This one has a roof rack, so I’m considering mounting antennas to the rack, where on the old van, we drilled the roof for direct mounting of antennas. Router is a MAX BR2 Pro 5G, so ultimately 8x5G, 2xWiFi, 1xGPS needed (though could be on more than one antenna). New van has a roof access port, so not planning to drill additional holes as easy wire access from roof to inside is provided.
Which Peplink antennas require a ground plane? Are there any roof rack mounts on the market that work with these?
Thanks for the thought, but I’m looking to keep the router indoors. We do at times run additional connections to/from the router, including local Ethernet devices within the van, Ethernet WAN outside for some events, plus Starlink. Really looking for rack mount antenna options with Peplink’s antenna options that are just antennas, not the products that are enclosures that accommodate routers or starlink. For my needs, those will not suffice.
