I have a Peplink B One router and Roamlink Connect multi-carrier service all purchased from Mobilemusthave.
Data throughput is awful. I never get anywhere close to cell phone speeds, and often it is much worse.
While Mobilemusthave offers good support on the router itself, they don’t take any ownership of performance issues with Roamlink. At $79 for 50GB I expect better.
Has anyone found another multi-carrier Peplink solution, one with good support? While I am computer literate, I am not a networking expert.
Thanks
While I do not have experience with Roamlink I do with Mobile Must Have and concur with your experience. I have yet to find any carrier or reseller that has acceptable cell support. I’m a bit old school and have yet to trust multi-carrier service, I’m also a believer that typically convenience comes with compromise. Also, temper your expectations, you will likely never get cell phone speed performance from a router plan. I’d suggest if mobile connectivity is your goal a stabile reliable connection be your main consideration.
I’m no expert, but have been mobile connecting for about 8 years. I’d suggest proving-out your hardware solution with a solid carrier direct plan. I’ve found the AT&T business mobile broadband plans to be the most stable. The 50Mbps unlimited plan is solid and fast enough for just about any need. T-Mobile offers similar products I’ve used with higher speeds and almost as stable. These plans are price comparable to your Roamlink……carrier direct (equates to higher tower priority) and unlimited data. I’ve has success with the inexpensive tablet plans from both AT&T and T-Mobile, AT&T is unlimited.
I’ve found business plans are the way to go. Find a way to obtain a business license, you’ll find a multitude of benefits……not just with cell service. Also, do some study of plans at the mobile internet resource center….their summary of plans as well as everything else is first rate.
Casey from MMH here. I’ve notified our head of support about your speed concerns, and we’re looking into it. We’ll be reaching out shortly on your support ticket to help you get this resolved

Thanks so much. As a note, I currently have the unit powered off as it is outside and we are experiencing very hot weather, but I can turn it on as needed.
