I want to add AT&T as backup Cell carrier to my Peplink MAX BR1 Pro 5G Mobile Router (X65 Chipset). I do not have an AT&T account. What do I do? Only data plan I see comes with an “All-Fi” device which I do not need and it does not have a SIM card in it to insert into the Peplink. I have Verizon as my main carrier and I just took the SIM card out of my “Mi-Fi” device and put it in the Peplink Router and it works just fine. Seems like I need AT&T account but not the hardware and either a SIM card or information to set up the eSIM that’s in the Router. Any advice welcome. Thanks. Keith

You can also get a peplink Esim plan as well if you go AT&T route all you need is the IMEI register that with AT&T account on web once active Hit the scan button under ESIm in IN Control 2 under Setup ESIM or activate ESIM do the scan method it will auto scan it and download it I did that with my version Sim on a Peplink 5G router for my aunt worked well
Thanks for the replies. I did run to the store and got a SIM card and an account so I’m all set up. Easy and quick, by the way. (I had a picture of the label on the bottom with the IMEI number and bar code so he scanned that and that’s all he needed. Keith
