Access to Remote VLAN

Hi,

I am new to Peplink and I really need to seek your advice.

I have 2 Peplink appliance connected via SpeedFusion.

HQ site is using Peplink Balance 580 as main network appliance with 2 VLANS - 10 and 20. VLAN 10 network is 192.168.10.0/24 and VLAN 20 uses 192.168.20.0/32.

Remote site is using Peplink 310 as main network appliance.

Here’s the scenario. I want to access the server in VLAN 10 at HQ site via RDP using the assigned IP 192.168.10.10 but it returns an error - Remote Desktop can’t connect to the neremote computer…

How to resolve this?

Your help is very much appreciated.

Thanks.

Can you ping 192.168.10.10 from the remote LAN network?

Yes , I can. I can’t even browse the local website in 192.168.10.0/24 subnet.

Hi GW-DAN,
have you tried to make a track, with wireshark?
I had a similar problem, doing the track I saw that the request for RDP did not go inside the vpn SF, but was thrown on the wan.
I solved this problem, enabling expert mode on outbound policies and then I created a rule with the destination server and I used the algorithm enforced with SF .
in this way the rdp request made the right path.
