I love the pep link we use in this remote location for managing the local unreliable ISP and the cellular component.
However, the peppy guy isn’t quite up to getting WiFi everywhere i need it. I’m going to repurpose some Eeros I have, for that job,
My question is, I see there’s the checkbox for managing AP’s which I presume to mean access points. I have three options then, at least:
-
Use the Eeros as access points but let pep link continue to be the router, with the box checked.
-
Use the Eeros as access points but let pep link continue to be the router, with the box unchecked.
-
Use the Eeros in gateway mode and let the Eeros do the routing.
I guess my concern is, with the box checked, there may be conflicts with Eero handling its mesh WiFi function, and with the pep link managing things in its way.
I appreciate all the help I’ve gotten here in the community. Thank you for reading.
