I just got the 8800L hotspot from Verizon, and I need to connect it to a router. I am looking for continuous use.
I am trying to figure out, do I want to:
1- put the sim card into a Pepwave Max BR1, or
2- tether this to a Pepwave Surf SOHO. And, if I tether it, will the pepwave keep the 8800L charged? It has a USB-C connection.

Hi Len,
the BR1 is much more proffessional than the 8800L. If it was mine, I would use the BR1 an insert the SIM into this.
The SOHO will charge the 8800L, You have to chek if this device is supported

I am curious… What did you wind up doing? I have a Verizon 8800L and am looking to tether it to a modem via USB… or maybe use a Netgear wifi extender and then go ethernet out from there?did you go with the SOHO or? I tested the Netgear WIFI extender EX6100V2 and it works fine… disabled the wifi and just used the ethernet out…
