From what I can tell in photos the 8 PoE 10G Switch - (PLS-8-10G-720W) appears to have fans. Looking for feedback on the following:
Need to install in a noise sensitive location and trying to confirm if it does indeed have fans and how loud it might be. I need POE++ and 10G which is causing me to lean towards this solution.
I have not been able to find any reviews and see conflicting info on if yes it has fans or not on resellers listings.
It’ has fans and it is noisy. Right from the get go… It’s a low grumble rather than a high speed fan under duress…
It got my attention and I had to turn it off… It’s a Cabinet job for sure.

This is exactly what I was anticipating in relation to size, POE output capacity, and what I would consider high no load/switch only power consumption.
Based on this it negates the use case as much as I wanted to like it and implement it.
Hopefully they have plans for rugged fanless equivalent [10G POE++ Type4/POE+++] (even with more ports) at some point.
