8.3.0 Upgrade Issue- SIM Card Error

I upgraded a MAX-BR1-MINI today. Following the upgrade, I attempted to turn ON Verizon Band 13 access. Band 2 and Band 4 access were already activated prior to the uograde. When I attempted to SAVE the configuration change, a Dialog Box appeared with the following message:

Cellular (id2) Unsupported value: cellular sim MobileType

I could not proceed with Band 13 activation.

Prior versions of the firmware have allowed Band 13 to be activated. Is there a BUG in the firmware? Is there some deficiency with the Verizon SIM? Has anyone else experienced this issue. and, if so, how did you resolve it?

I have five other devices to perform this upgrade on. But I am not touching them until I can get some clear understanding of what is going on and how to resolve it.

Best regards,

Joel…

Once you have performed the upgrade, RESET the unit’s CONFIGURATION to FACTORY DEFAULTS. Then try accessing Band 13 or any other band not previously selected. If that works, you can reinstate your original configuration. If that doesn’t work, you will need to open a ticket with Peplink Support. Good luck!

Same problem. Any help?

Thanks Paul. I’ll try it.
I also have a message on my Dashboard that says:
“Suspect “Verizon” cellular antenna component malfunction, please contact distributor for support.”

This is new since upgrading to 8.3.

Well considering this was March of this year and there are only 2 responses, can I assume this was resolved behind the scenes? Im having the same issue and have been for a while. We just moved to a new location and I was going to change some antennas around but it will not let me save any new configurations because of Unsupported value: cellular sim mobileType
