6.3.0 Bug Report - WAN Name

Renamed a WAN. Saved. Applied Change. Multiple Times.

Everything in web access shows the Correct New WAN Name.

However, in the event log, it still shows the Old Name for the WAN.

Need to reboot to change the name in the Event Log

Hi,

Have you try to make some changes that related to the WAN after you renamed it? I tested it was working fine (renamed WAN name showed immediately). Fyi, I tested on v6.3.0.

Changed name 2 weeks ago…

Hi,

Interesting. May I know which model you are using?

Anyway, below is my testing result on Balance 580.

Peplink Balance One

Hi,

I tested on Balance One but can’t replicate your problem. Please find the screenshot below. I suggest opening a ticket for us to take a closer look.
