I have a 5ghz wireless mesh setup with 2 Wired hub APs and 6 Meshed APs.
I wanted to have the Meshed APs connected to nodes with stronger signal, so I set the min. client signal strength to -65 dBm
This setting didn’t seem to work as the meshed nodes still connected to the Wired hub APs even though the signal was around -75 dBm.
But what I think I just realized was that this whole time they would stay connected but not allow client traffic to pass if they were under -75 dBm… Is this the expected outcome?
