At the moment we have 8 Peplink Balance 710 firmware 6.3.1 build 1631
We use these to loadbalance/switch between 2-6 different wan links. We are missing some important settings that would make these loadbalancers much better.
Create Usergroups:
Now only Manager, Guest and Staff is available. Would be great to create usergroups and rename the current.
And use the Individual Bandwidth Limit for the new created usergroups.
I would like to adjust the manager as well.
Wan Speed settings:
The possibility to set the Upload and Download bandwidth, you can now but only the upload will be limited. Download is not.
Port settings:
Would be a great addidition to enable vlans on the lan ports.

For instance we have a Broadband connection 100/100 the Individual Bandwidth limit is for guest 2/2
Now we switchover to a satellite connection 2/2 ten the guest limit is still 2/2.
We do not get the wanted results from the group bandwidth Reservation, the limit does the job.
User Groups: Believe this is already on our road map for future firmware
WAN Speed: These should be defined with what you are actually getting from the ISP. These values will effect bandwidth control, outbound policy etc…Bandwidth control will let you limit up/down speeds.
Port Settings: We do support VLANs on 6.x firmware and above. You may go to Network>LAN: Click on the (?) next to the interface IP address to unhide the VLAN feature.
Individual Bandwidth settings per Wan link: This is noted and engineering will take a look into this.
The wan speed is expensive sometimes, since you can’t really limit manager and cannot create new user groups this would be great if it works. It does for the upload. Sometimes we just want to set it lower to get grip on the cost.
I know there is a vlan possibility, unfortunately you can’t assigin a vlan to a specific lan port.

Adjusting speeds per WAN links would be great.
e.g. for a yacht your get unlimited wifi in port at 10/2 Mbps, at see with cellular you could get from 1/1 Mbps up to 50/50 Mbps with a limited data use and then further out you get VSAT at 2000/500 Kbps unlimited
It would be nice to have different profiles depending on what connection is been used.
