Zoom and Mac App Store SSL issues

I’ve inherited a Balance One Core and need to run a problem by you all to see if it’s something easily solvable.

About two months ago users in our remote office were reporting issues with Zoom (this article seems to echo the issue) and Mac App Store apps will not download (the error indicates something with SSL and that a secure connection to the server cannot be made).

This sounds like a cert or time issue although I don’t know how to confirm this. The firewall is on 8.2.1 build 5372 and the time is set correctly and so is the time zone.

Where else should I look?

Are you using SpeedFusion Cloud/Connect Protect? (We do know that some activities cannot be accomplished via such a tunnel – e.g., iOS updates.)

I looked for the service you mention and this is what I see.

I am not sure where you retrieved that image but I take it your answer is “no” to my question. No proxy in use? However, if there is a “certificate issue” as you suggest it would likely be between the target service/web site and your computer rather than the Peplink router.
