Good morning, just received my new Max BR1 Mk2 yesterday…
Everything looks great out of the box, thank you.
Using AT&T sim…
But can’t get a wired connection to work just want to plug a simple switch into it so I can add wired connections. How do I enable the Wired connection?
Please advise.
By default, the wired connection is set to DHCP in the WAN connection settings but you can change the connection method to a static IP if that is what you need.
Afternoon Ron,
Thanks for the prompt response — greatly appreciated.
Unfortunately…
Forgive me, new to this, i must be missing something.
I am able to connect via Wi-Fi (that obviously came up straight away as soon as I inserted my SIM card) the only other thing Ive done is change the default password.
My laptop is unable to connect via Ethernet on either LAN or WAN ports (just Incase they were labeled incorrectly).
Laptop IPV4 is set to obtain IP via DHCP - still no internet connection on the laptop.
Please Help!
Do a factory reset on the BR1 using the front button. Seen a bunch recently where the DHCP service seems to have bugged out and a hardware reset fixes it.
Or as a test, set your laptop to a static IP of 192.168.50.100/24 with a gateway and DNS of 192.168.50.1 and see if you can connect to the internet.
