WiFi WAN DNS Bug

Anyone seen this WiFi as a WAN bug before and know how to fix it? I used WiFi as a WAN on a previous code version earlier this year and used the DNS servers for OpenDNS. Now I’m using 192.168.10.1 as the DNS server and I can’t get rid of the old DNS entries… Ticket opened # 20100760

Can you try to disable the wifi-as-wan and re-enable and/or reboot see if that resolves it?

Thank you for the suggestions. Tried both reboot and disabling, no luck :frowning: They are stuck in there good.

Try to remove the wifi profile and add it back?

I deleted all of the profiles and created one under a new SSID. No luck.

The engineering team had to remotely fix this. After their fix, the DNS entries in the resolver are gone for WiFi WAN and they say that will be fixed in a future code release.

I assume this was firmware 8.1?

8.1.0 Build 4943

@sitloongs What was the fix, how do we resolve on our own?

Yes, it’s was firmware 8.1.0 firmware bug.

@Jonathan_Pitts, If you see the similar problem, you can open a ticket and Engineering team can hotfix the issue.

In general, the WIFI WAN DNS Server IP list (DHCP IP) is referring to some old data that cause the issue.
