For use in public transportation as a WiFi-hotspot, we have requirement that WiFi user should on first attempt redirected to a customized webpage. This webpage is just for announcement (terms and conditions) and user should read it and click Agree button before he/she can access any further data service. Moreover, this function will be useful for restricting any unwanted session from smartphones, tablets etc that currently try to automatically get connected and start (google map, torrent, IM, Skype etc) sessions without any question asked. This can save bandwidth for legitimate users.
