Wifi as WAN no longer functioning on PEPWAVE Max Transit Duo.

Pepwave has been installed in RV for 2+years to provide mobile network.

  • no servers,
  • no VLANs
  • end-user devices only
  • 8.2.1 build 5372
    Typically used as wifi extender with various SIMS available as back-up options to access internet. Was connected to mediocre campground wifi (15 down;5up).
    Decided to fire up Starlink (105down;20up) so attempted to change WiFi as WAN input to my starlink. the profile had already been created and was used successfully many times however this time it failed continually. troubleshooting steps taken:
    Connected end-user device direct to Starlink - connected fine
    connected end-user device back to campground wifi- connected fine
    attempted to connect PEPWAVE to campground wifi again- no connection.
    2x soft reboots,
    1x hard reboot
    verified Wi-Fi antennae are firmly connected.

A SIM is installed and cellular is selected as option two. PEPWAVE is putting it into standby and as you can see in the attached screenshot, it is showing as connected. The second screenshot however shows a spinning connecting status.

any advice?

Can you change the mac on the wifi-as-wan to see if the campground is blocking your wifi or try removing the wifi profile and adding it back.

i have tried deleting the wifi profiles and rebuilding them. No joy. I have not checked to see if the campground is blocking me because it is happening both with the campground wifi and with my starlink wifi. I will try that though just to eliminate the possibility that I have two issues.
