WiFi as WAN Disconnects Frequently

Hello

I have a MAX BR1 MK2 connected to a Netgear Nighthawk hotspot (AT&T) in addition to my usage of a Verizon SIM card natively in the router.

Whenever I have WiFi as WAN prioritized over the internal SIM, I am finding that several times per day the BR1 will lose connection to the Nighthawk and then struggle to reconnect. Only rebooting the BR1 will then allow it to successfully reconnect to the Nighthawk with any stability. This seems to remain stable for anywhere from 4-24 hours before it happens again.

The Nighthawk broadcasts both 5Ghz and 2.4Ghz and is about 10 feet from the BR1.

I should also mention that during the time when the BR1 can’t reconnect to the hotspot, other devices can use the hotspot just fine.

Has anyone had issues like this and are there any recommendations?

Thanks

Justin

I had a similar issue a year or two ago. Can you make sure that the channels that the netgear are using are not the same as the BR1 for Wi-Fi.
